Baked Butternut Squash with Brown Sugar
Ingredients
butternut squash
Coarse salt and ground pepper
1/3 cup brown sugar toppings
2 tablespoons milted butter
Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
Halve squash lengthwise. Scoop out and discard seeds. Brush cut sides of squash halves with melted butter; season generously with salt and pepper.
Place halves, cut side down, on a rimmed baking sheet; bake until almost tender when pierced with the tip of a paring knife, 30 minutes
Turn halves cut side up; dividing evenly, sprinkle with topping. Return to oven; continue baking until tender and browned, about 30 minutes
Serve & enjoy!
