When I try to get this royalty free song it says this... what does it mean
 As a content creator, you can use Monstercat music on YouTube easily! Just copy the crediting text and add it to your original content. No promoter or visualizer based uploads are allowed. For commercial license click here.You will receive a copyright claim and will not be able to monetize your video. If you would like to monetize your videos please purchase a YouTube license

It doesnt read like it is royalty free.

To use as a piece of music for non monetised content is fine with attribution. But if you want to turn on monetisation they you will need to buy a license from them.

Can you paste the link to where youre getting that text from? thanks

Try searching through google. Should find something.
It'd be pretty dope if you stopped reading this and check out my fire cinematic videos. c;

Ok, yes, if you want to use the music its ok, but if you want to monetize your video with adsense adverts then you buy a license.

if something is royalty free, that means that no one can copyright strike you, which is important so that your videos don't get taken down, as well as losing your money made on the video, and your channel won't get striked! Hope I was able to help!
