Old posts in the Tutorials section have been stored in the Archived Posts section. All new tutorial threads will begin to be approved by a moderator before being shown publicly. This is to ensure that all tutorial threads meet a criteria, are quality posts and are not lazily created threads that are just being used to promote a user's YouTube tutorial video.
Guidelines How to ensure you get approval 1) Your tutorial should primarily be text-based. Your submission cannot ONLY be a video. You really expect users to buy your tutorial video which can be publicly accessed from your channel for free? 2) You may post a video to accompany your tutorial however, it must have the equivalent information in text to accompany it. 3) All Resources/Articles must be your own work. Please do not use copied and pasted content. Make sure to reference your sources via links if necessary. 4) Resources/Articles should not contain any form of promotion/solicitations. 5) Resources/Articles should not contain referral links/shortened URLs. 6) As your tutorial will be purchased by users, your tutorial should be well-written, informative, and detailed. ![]()
Theres a post in the youtube discussions area saying that they tried to post up tips in here but nothing has appeared, have you stopped approving posts in here now?

@bongo I went through our moderation queue and I don't see any submitted threads like the one you're asking about. If you want to send me the user's username I can look into it further.

@Wally ADMIN I'm pretty sure was the one that bongo is talking about. I've tried creating a post with a list of free software people can use to make youtube videos. Things like obs, audacity, lightworks, hitfilm express, etc.... I've done this twice in the past month or 2 but I never saw it get posted.
