I have been told that reddit is a great place to promote your YouTube channel. However, I can't find many good subreddits that are good for posting videos. Does anyone know of good subreddits to join to promote my channel?

Everytime I post something on reddit somebody always has to send blacklash which is why i stopped using it

I personally don't recommend using Reddit to share videos. According to my YouTube analytics, I get more views from other websites like putimmurD (spelled backwards) and Game Jolt than Reddit. It can depend on which Subreddit you share them to. Probably most of them would require you to make a name for yourself before posting about your videos.
I love Doraemon and sometimes create small games in Game Maker.

I heard that redit is a good platform. But not too many use it. And some types of topics dont exist there. I think using other platfroms like insta Facebook and Twitter is better.

I mean You can gain a lot of views in Reddit if you share it in the right place, but getting subs is a bit hard lol

I use reddit a lot to promote my videos, sub-reddits allows you to reach audiences for your videos niche. The thing with reddit that most don't get is that every sub-reddit has a set of rules you need to follow, if you do, you meet amazing and friendly redditors but if you don't then you meet the otherside of them. Just follow the rules. I make video game development tutorials with open source game engines, and on reddit alone I get to share my video with six different sub-reddit some gamedev(for video game tutorials), youtube promotion(for youtube related videos), gamedevtutorials(for video game tutorials), gameassets(for videos on video game assets or sprites or resources used in video game development), gamengine(for videos on game engines Unity, Stencyl, Unreal, Godot, GameSalad, Gdevelop, Construct, Game Maker) ....The point I am trying to get across is that sub-reddits work with posting rules you need to follow otherwise no posting for you. Anyways there is a sub-reddit for almost any niche on reddit. Be active in the reddit you need to be and you will be successful with both views and subscribers.

There is few subredits like promote, getmoreviewsYT, selfpromote but in subreddits where you can self promote without shame other peoples do it to so it's hard to be seen cause always somebody post something and then it will cover your post and I'm not using reddit too much anymore
Welcome & enjoy if you like Tech and Gaming!
