Comments Feedback Vs "Awesome Video Keep it UP"

While I have only been on this site for only 2-3 days now, and I do hope to use this site to grow and learn things.  I will be watching videos as well to help those in need.  But one thing I notice on this site, and to me, its a bit of an issue that should be nailed and fixed.  The comments on some of the videos I have been seeing.  It to me seems like these comments are generic and need to be removed as they dont really help the channel grow or even help the creator.  Let me get into a bit of insight that would help you.

Most of the time you are watching a video, and you finish it,  once you go to the comments you start to wonder about not only the comments, but the site.  I see the following comments on videos "Awesome video keep it up."  or "Great video keep it up" something similar to this, and to me, while that is a nice compliment, that is all it is, there is nothing to it, other than a spam from users either going to the 3 comments requirements to post thier own video, or just trying to get popular on the site.  This to me isn't helping the site, its users, or anyone for that matter for the simple reason.  Your not helping the creator grow at all.  You just putting a comment in, bet you never watched a minute of the video.  Not once.  This has to be fixed and I urge them to fix it.

If you are a creator and you are commenting like this on others channels to get your own stuff up, shame on you for doing so, with out taking account the amount of work goes into each video, and shame on you for not putting effort into it.  If you are a comment person on here just putting it in, shame on you for even spamming that.  I personally believe that if this site wants to grow it needs to be handled with up most care, and rooting out spam comments of this nature as its just losing out on stuff.

I watch every video I can to give the best course of feedback, or a proper compliment, rate the video, and give a heart when I feel the creator earned it from me.  This is how it should work, when you watch a video and it nice, and looks amazing, let that creator know in constructive comments that has meaning.  Think about it.

"Hey there I really enjoyed your walkthrough on Halo 2, I never knew about the skull there, of if it was in the game.  Great work and hope to see more"  This is a okay comment, it explains what was awesome about the video.  If there was a issue it be this.  "Like the video, though I notice the audio was acting up a scene, or the video was a bit poor in quality if you need help I can try or I can help you out."  Engage with the creator and help each other.  That is what this platform was built on.

Now that I got that out of the way.  Think before you comment, use constructive critizism and or give good comments.  And avoid Spamming comments to get your video on here.

Generic comments are so common these days. They don't say anything about what's actually in the videos.
I love Doraemon and sometimes create small games in Game Maker.

@SR Craft n Design In simple terms, I really believe that generic commenting on people videos should be banned, and there should be constructive comments.

@Yoni Arousement BOOST Indeed, and like I said its nice to have a compliment, in videos. But that is it, there is nothing else to it, its like a bot wrote it, or some one copys and paste the same thing adding an emote, or one or two words to skim by the rules or something like that. I just feel that is what this site turned into and many are abusing the 3 comment rule just to get their stuff uploaded. Granted I understand about growing if your a small channel I'm in that pond. But I feel that seeing this is just not right

@CosmiXWolf I see what you mean...

yeah, I have noticed the same thing. I suspect that the people posting generic comments are just hitting their 3 comment quota so they can post their videos. it is lame but there are those people in every community.

I've noticed this on other platforms too. I've had people admit in a comment "This is a copy & pasted response, but I did actually enjoy your video."

I just don't believe that after it shows up on three posts in a row.

@Jake_Productions Yea I have to agree. That's pretty much what's going on

People often comment for the sake of completing a task or multiple tasks. I wish there were more creators with the same thought of writing a constructive comment which in a way helps the creator.
